Format: Live Zoom
There's a lot of resume advice out there. Most of it is either generic, outdated, or built for someone earlier in their career than you. This is a working session — part framework, part live coaching, part hands-on time.
We'll start with context that most job seekers don't have: what a realistic job search actually looks like from a timeline and pacing standpoint, and how to allocate your energy across the activities that matter (networking, applications, interview prep) in proportions that match where you are in the process.
Then we'll get into the resume itself.I'll share what I've seen actually matter in resume reviews for mid-to-senior professionals — and what genuinely isn't worth your time.
We'll walk through bullet rewrites in real time, so you can see exactly what gets left out of most resumes and why it's the most important part. If you'd like live feedback on your own resume during the session, you can submit it in advance (details below) and I'll work through it with the group. You'll also receive my personally developed resume guide — built specifically for professionals at any career level — to use as a reference long after the session.
What you'll leave with: A clear picture of the job search timeline and activity mix that works for mid-career professionals, a real-time understanding of what makes a resume land (and what buries it), and my resume guide to reference as you revise.
Want live feedback on your resume? Submit your current resume in advance using the link you'll receive after registration. Submissions are reviewed live during the session on a first-come basis.
Register Today via CalendlyThis session is standalone — no prior work required beyond bringing your current resume.
It's also included at no additional cost for anyone who registers for the Midlife Career Pivot Framework cohort (starting August 13). Discount codes provided after registration is approved. -

Most job search plans fall apart within two weeks — not because of motivation, but because the goals were too vague and the system was too complicated. This 75-minute working session is built around one outcome: you leave with a realistic, specific job search plan you'll actually follow.
We'll cover what a sustainable weekly search cadence actually looks like, how to set targets that account for your energy alongside your timeline, and how to know when your approach is working versus when to adjust. No 47-point frameworks. One plan, built by you, in the session.
What you'll leave with: A written job search action plan with weekly targets, a simple tracking method, and clear criteria for what "on track" looks like.
Register Today via CalendlyThis session is standalone — no prior work required.
It's also included at no additional cost for anyone who registers for the Midlife Career Pivot Framework cohort (starting August 13). Discount codes for bonus sessions provided upon registration completion and approval.

Format: Live Via Zoom (4 Sessions)You're not stuck. You're not in crisis. You're a thoughtful professional who's ready to make a deliberate move — and you want to do it right.
Maybe you've been in your field for 15 years and you're ready for something different. Maybe you're eyeing a new industry, a leadership role, or a consulting path. You know something needs to change, but when someone asks where you're headed, the answer isn't quite there yet. The story sounds like a résumé. Networking feels uncomfortable. And the idea of interviewing for something that's a stretch is quietly stressful.
That's exactly what this cohort is designed to fix.
Over four weeks, you'll build four things: a clear direction, a story you can actually use, a networking approach that doesn't feel transactional, and a way to stay present in interviews when the questions get hard.
Each session does one thing well. You leave with one thing to use. That's the whole design.
The SessionsSession 1 — Clarity: From Fog to Direction
Thursday, September 10 | 12:30–2:30pm ET (2 hours)
Most people wait for clarity before they'll say anything. This session reframes that: clarity isn't the prerequisite to starting — it's what you get by starting. We'll work through what's actually underneath your pivot (not your passion, your values — concrete moments, not abstractions), distinguish between burnout signals and genuine direction signals, and build your pivot sentence. You'll leave with one sentence you've said out loud and aren't embarrassed by.
Session 2 — Narrative: Your Working Pivot Story
Thursday, September 17 | 12:30–2:00pm ET
You have a pivot sentence. Now it needs to become a story. We'll build a 3-part structure — Past (what shaped you), Present (what you've built), Forward (where you're going and why now) — that works in any context: a coffee chat, a LinkedIn About section, an interview opener. You'll draft it live in the session and leave with something real enough to use.
Session 3 — Network: A Model You'll Actually Use
Thursday, September 24 | 12:30–2:00pm ET
Most people either avoid networking or do it in a way that feels extractive. This session reframes it around genuine curiosity — and gives you a practical system. You'll map your network into three tiers (warm, cool, cold), write five outreach messages live in the session, and leave with a weekly rhythm that's sustainable in a busy schedule. Not a CRM. Whatever survives a full week.
Session 4 — Interviews: Staying Present When It Gets Hard
Thursday, October 8 | 12:30–2:30pm ET (2 hours)
The problem in interviews isn't knowledge — it's that high performers freeze when a question catches them off guard. It's not a confidence issue; it's physiological. This session gives you two specific tools to manage that response and a live drill on the questions people actually dread: "Why are you leaving?", "Why should we hire you over a direct candidate?", "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?" You'll leave with a system, not a script.
IS THIS RIGHT FOR YOU?This cohort might be right for you if:
You're a professional in your 30s–50s making a deliberate move — to a new industry, a leadership role, or a senior individual contributor or consulting path
You can articulate that something needs to change, even if you can't articulate what's next
You want structure and a thinking partner, not a pep talk or a quick fix
You're willing to do small, specific work between sessions (one assignment per week)
This is probably not right for you if:
You're in reactive mode and need immediate help with a job application
You're looking for a resume review or job-search tactics (both of these are available as stand alone services, please inquire).

I've been teaching networking as a process for over 10 years.
It wasn't until almost a year after my own layoff that something obvious occurred to me: I had never taught anyone how to troubleshoot it.
I'd taught the mechanics — outreach, meeting, follow-up. But I had never given anyone a way to look at their own networking and ask: what specifically isn't working, and what do I change?
And yet "I tried networking. It doesn't work. I reached out and no one responded" is one of the most common things I hear from clients who've stalled.
Experienced professionals. People responsible for multi-million dollar budgets. When I ask how many outreach emails they sent, the answer is usually somewhere between 2 and 10. When I ask to see one, it's usually some version of: Hi, I'm Jane Doe, I'm interested in working at Company X, could I pick your brain?
And then they stopped. Because they had no way to know what to fix.
So I built one. I call it the 4M Networking Method — four areas to check when networking isn't moving.
Mindset. How you're showing up emotionally. Are you curious or desperate? Confident or dreading it? Your nervous system is either helping or hijacking this conversation before it starts. This is the foundation — nothing else works without it.
Messaging. What you're saying and how — in your outreach and in the meeting itself. Generic messages get ignored. Meetings without a clear structure go flat. There's a specific formula for both that changes response rates dramatically.
Matching. How you're reading and responding to the person in front of you. Are you leading the conversation or waiting for them to? Are you tracking their energy — when to push forward, when to give space, when to wrap up? This is where good networking becomes memorable.
Momentum. How you're tracking engagement over time. Who's responding, who's gone quiet, when to follow up, and when to move on. Without this piece, most people give up at exactly the wrong moment — or keep knocking on the same door that isn't opening.
One of these four areas is almost always where the stall is hiding.
My proprietary 4M Networking Method isn’t generic “just be curious” advice.
You’ll leave this intensive with specific language, structure, and follow-up strategies you can use immediately — even if networking has always felt uncomfortable. This includes outreach and follow up templates and tips for structuring meaningful conversations in an efficient way.
If your job search and networking feel slow, quiet, or discouraging, the missing piece usually isn’t effort — it’s approach.
Don't stop because Networking hasn't worked for you. Find out WHY it's not working - and move ahead with confidence!
________________________________
This event happens over 2 days and includes light asynchronous support via email and voice memo, over the course of the program.
Day 1:
Friday, October 16, 2026
1:00-3:30pm ET/ 10:00am-12:30pm PT
We cover the 4Ms and how to use them to understand where your networking is stalling out. I also share templates for outreach emails, follow up suggestions, and give you clear guidance about how to approach this experiment of piloting your new networking approach.
Day 2:
Friday, October 30, 2026
1:00pm-2:30pm ET/10:00am-11:30am PT
Is intentionally a couple of weeks later. This is to give you time to practice outreach and hopefully have a few networking conversations to help you test out this new process. It will be a time for us to collectively reflect on what you’ve learned, what you’ve tried and to discuss where you still feel a need for additional guidance.
Register Today via CalendlyThis program also includes light asynchronous support (like having me “proof read” email drafts to help you build confidence, or answers to quick operational questions).
It does not include additional resume reviews or interview prep - though those can be discussed during this engagement at a reduced rate!
Upcoming Events
All my workshops include instruction, demonstrations, and active writing/brainstorming.
My goal for any session is for you to walk away with at least one clear action item, to help you move forward.
Any of these workshops or programs can also be adapted for 1:1 coaching if that would be a better fit for your schedule. Pricing will be different. Please inquire if you’d like to explore a 1:1 option instead.
